National lockdown is here, but as I wrote on Monday, we made it up to Remy’s parents’ property in southwest France from our apartment on the coast ahead of the lockdown. This meant that we could keep the kids away from their friends - hard to do in an apartment complex when all their buddies live in the same block - and we could isolate the family on an acre, gardening and appreciating how lucky we are to have this space.
We decided it would be a great time to show you around the self-taught permaculture garden we’ve been preparing for the past year since semi-settling here in France.
